Activities Of The PMU CRRT

Center of radio contact, broadcast and television (PMU CRRT) is the State unitary enterprise of the Uzbek Agency of communication and Informatization (uzaci). SUE CRRT has 9 branches – Broadcasting transmission centres in the city of Tashkent regions of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as the subsidiary company «Aloqa RTV». The Centre has established a network of TV and radio programs throughout the Republic.
In the structure of GDP are active CRRT employed more than 1100 employees. Of them, with higher education – 24,6%, with medium-special education– 36,6%, with secondary education is – 38,8%.
SUE CRRT plays an important role in the social life of the Republic. The Centre participates in the development of broadcasting in the Republic of Uzbekistan and systems carries out specific government programs.
SUE CRRT on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan services for television and radio programmes’ using terrestrial and satellite communication systems.
SUE CRRT is a State enterprise that renders services broadcast (public) TV and national television and radio company of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, commercial studios as well as radio relay provides services to foreign radio stations.
SUE CRRT based on market requirements, with financial support from the State, upgrade modern technical means corresponding to world standards. This allows us to continually improve the quality of services and strive to fully meet the needs of the broadcast to date.
Currently, under the concept of introducing digital broadcasting in the Republic of Uzbekistan "PMU CRRT is staged implementation of digital broadcasting in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
SUE CRRT relays on third countries foreign broadcasters through the powerful radio short wave transmitters.
SUE CRRT has its own cable television networks in a number of regions of Uzbekistan. It continues to develop and create new networks of cable television to meet the growing demand of the Republic's population.
SUE CRRT with unique structure – Tashkent telebašnej, provides for the residents and visitors of the capital restaurant services, located at an altitude of 110 metres and conducts tours to the tower.
SUE CRRT lease site on masts and towers for telecommunications equipment. The advantage of the Centre is the presence of metal structures in virtually all large and many small towns.
Today, with the direct leadership and financed by the Uzbek Agency of communication and information, the PMU CRRT organized power zone digital TV broadcasting in the cities of Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand, Nukus, Urgench, Andijan, Karshi.
