Cable television

At the present stage of development of communication and information, television plays an important role in the life of the modern society. Television satisfies public’s informational, spiritual, cultural needs, providing ground for forming the institute of democracy, as well as, stirring up the population to carry out the radical social and economic reforms in the life of the Republic. That is why there occurred the need to satisfy the growing demand of the population in the services of accessible cable television. Therefore, “Radio communication, broadcasting and television center” State Unitary Enterprise; (RCBTC SUE) established the networks of cable television in 14 cities of the republic.

RCBTC SUE is a licensed , оto provide construction, designing, maintenance and supply cable television service within the framework of in-house financing.

Cable television services are supplied using equipment of world leading manufacturers and facilities that complies with international standards.

Taking into consideration the world trend to develop digital fiber-optical communication systems, the Center put into operation experimental digital fiber-optical main line within the cable television net, located in city of Navoi.

Broadcasting of foreign TV channels by the cable television nets is carried out on the basis of the Agreement, concluded with CJSC «O‘zbekiston kabel televideniyesi» in accordance with the provided broadcasting net.

At present RCBTC SUE, having at its disposal tremendous experience in broadcasting and highly skilled professionals across all the regions of Uzbekistan, carries out marketing research to study ever growing demand in cable television, and to locate opportunities for possible geographical expansion.

The following categories of works are performed based on the marketing research:

  • Organization of new and acquiring of the current cable television nets;
  • Improvement and expanding of the current nets;
  • Increasing current number of broadcasting television channels.
